Dear Beautiful Soul,

If no one has told you lately, let me be the one to remind you:

You don’t have to carry everything alone.

I know you’re strong.

I know you’re capable.

I know you’ve survived things that would have broken other people.

I know you’ve become the person everyone depends on.

The one who figures things out.

The one who shows up.

The one who keeps going.

The one who carries the weight.

But even the strongest hearts get tired.

Sometimes we become so accustomed to being strong that we forget we’re also human.

We convince ourselves that asking for help is weakness.

We tell ourselves we should be able to handle everything on our own.

We become experts at carrying burdens silently.

We smile while struggling.

We encourage others while feeling discouraged ourselves.

We continue giving while quietly running on empty.

And after a while, that kind of strength becomes exhausting.

The truth is, strength was never meant to mean isolation.

Strength is not pretending everything is okay when it isn’t.

Strength is not carrying every burden by yourself.

Strength is not suffering in silence.

Real strength includes knowing when to rest.

Knowing when to speak.

Knowing when to ask for help.

Knowing when to let someone support you.

Some of us learned early in life that we had to be independent.

Maybe we were disappointed.

Maybe we were let down.

Maybe we learned not to expect help from anyone.

So we built walls.

We became self-reliant.

We learned how to survive.

Those skills may have protected us once.

But survival and living are not the same thing.

You deserve more than survival.

You deserve connection.

You deserve support.

You deserve people who genuinely care about your well-being.

You deserve moments where you don’t have to carry the entire world on your shoulders.

The beautiful thing about being human is that we were never designed to do life alone.

Everything thrives through connection.

Sometimes support arrives through a friend.

Sometimes through family.

Sometimes through a mentor.

Sometimes through a stranger who offers a kind word at exactly the right moment.

Support doesn’t always solve every problem.

But it reminds us that we don’t have to face every problem alone.

And sometimes that reminder changes everything.

If you’re carrying something heavy today, I want you to know it’s okay to put it down for a moment.

It’s okay to rest.

It’s okay to cry.

It’s okay to admit you’re tired.

It’s okay to ask for help.

You don’t have to earn support.

You don’t have to prove your worth first.

You don’t have to reach a breaking point before allowing someone to care about you.

You are worthy of support simply because you’re human.

Beautiful soul, please remember this:

The people who truly love you don’t see your vulnerability as a burden.

They see it as an opportunity to be there for you the way you’ve been there for others.

Let them.

Let people love you.

Let people encourage you.

Let people help you.

The strongest people in the world aren’t the ones who carry everything alone.

They’re the ones who understand they don’t have to.

So today, take a deep breath.

Release some of the pressure.

Remember to rest.

And remember:

You don’t have to carry everything alone.

With love,

Someone who believes in you.

Onna🩷
